Gene Fowler’s words on writing are often quoted: “Writing is easy. Just stare at a blank piece of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.” And Ben Hecht said, “Writing is easy. Just open a vein.”

But writing doesn’t have to be that painful. The Novel Approach workshops are structured to support, nurture and sustain participants in their year long journey to completing their book. Students in the Novel Approach workshop found the workshop environment more than compensated for the effort of writing.

This year, for the first time, we’re offering “THE FINAL APPROACH” - a follow up to the Novel Approach. This course is designed for students who have completed a full length manuscript and who are wanting to prepare it for publication.
